Frequently Asked Questions

Why does a funeral cost more than just the products I see? While caskets and urns are visible items, a significant portion of the cost covers professional expertise and time. An average funeral requires about 80 man-hours of behind-the-scenes work, including legal filings, 24/7 availability, and complex coordination with multiple organizations.

What is included in the "Professional Service Fee"? This fee covers the essential logistical work handled by our Funeral Directors. This includes meeting with your family, coordinating with clergy and cemeteries, handling social security and veterans' benefits paperwork, and managing all public inquiries regarding the service.

Is 24/7 support actually available? Yes. We operate on a 168-hour workweek. Whether it is 2:00 AM on a holiday or a busy Tuesday afternoon, our staff is trained and available to provide immediate assistance and bereavement support 365 days a year.

What goes into the "Preparation" of my loved one? Beyond standard care like dressing and casketing, our clinical staff is trained in advanced restorative techniques and public health safety. We ensure every individual is treated with the highest level of dignity, even in cases of severe trauma or illness.

Are there additional costs for veterans? We take great pride in Veteran Services. Our professional service fee already includes the completion of all necessary forms for the Veterans Administration, including securing the burial flag and any eligible burial benefits.
