Yvonne Doreen Cobb

Yvonne Doreen Cobb was born on February 15th, 1958 in Harrisburg, PA to Sarah Elizabeth Cobb. Yvonne was granted her angel wings on November 4th, 2020.  She was surrounded by loved ones prior to transitioning.

A Graduate of Harrisburg High School, Yvonne went on to complete two years at Lincoln University, and received her Associates from Harrisburg Area Community College.  She retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Education.

She is survived by her three children, Dominique Springs (Philadelphia, PA), Angelina Springs (Pensacola, FL), and Jarrod Springs (Harrisburg, PA).  Her siblings Glenise Cobb-Wingfield, Wendy Cobb-Lewis (Alvin), Anthony D. Cobb, Michael Cobb, Mark Cobb, and Matthew Cobb (Alecia). Yvonne has two beautiful grandchildren, Khyley Josey and Elias Springs, two aunts Audrey Lovett and Bernice Cobb and lifelong partner William Harrison. 

Yvonne was known for her infectious smile and beautiful soul.  She was a true woman of God and was deeply involved with her church home New Hope.  Her favorite things to do were spend time with her loved ones, as well as go to the beach and shop.  She was an avid Steelers fan and loved Luther Vandross’s music.  Yvonne will be extremely missed and carried forever in our hearts.

Services will be held at New Hope Living Baptist Church, 395 S. 2nd Street, Steelton, PA on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m. with all COVID-19 restrictions in place, please wear your masks.
