Willie "Bernard" Burks

Willie "Bernard" Burks, 46, of Steelton, passed peacefully on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Harrisburg Hospital. "Bernard" as he was affectionately known, served in the US Army Reserve for over 17 years and enjoyed dominos, horse shoes, basketball and was an avid sports fan. He leaves to celebrate his life and memory his devoted mother, Bobbie S. Ross and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00. The family is appreciative for your many acts of kindness shown to them during their time of bereavement.
