William E. "Scales" Ross

William E. "Scales" Ross passed peacefully at Blue Ridge Mountain Nursing Home on Tuesday, April 5th in his 74th year. He retired from the City of Harrisburg, Parks and Recreation and was raised in the Hillside 7th Day Adventist Church until joining the 1st Spirit Filled Missionary Baptist Church, it's Men's Ministry, the Heinz Senior Center, he also enjoyed music and sports. William's life will be remembered and celebrated by his children; Norma and Anthony Fletcher, Sheree Wells, Dianna, Iva, William and John R. Hodge, Joe Thomas and Percy D. Halty, 22 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a loving companion, Dorothy J. Echols, several relatives and friends on Monday, April 11th at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. with services at 11:00 a.m. and viewing at 10:00 a.m. The family extends their appreciation for your love and support during their time of loss and sorrow.
