"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose... " William "June" Piper, Jr., 51, of Harrisburg, passed peacefully at home with his family at his side on Saturday, May 14, 2011. William retired from Sears as a Service Technician, he was a member of United Baptist Church, a Deacon, President of the Usher Board, Men's Choir, Adult Sunday School Teacher to name a few, member of the United Steel Workers Union, he enjoyed auto shows, bowling and traveling. William is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Piper, two children, Tynesha and Ivan Robinson, siblings; Betty Bradley (Murrell), Phyllis Miller (Joe), Michelle and Donna Jean Piper, all of Harrisburg, Richard Hall (Gretchen) of NC, Clarence Piper (Rose) also of Harrisburg. Services will be held at his church at 1401 Walnut Street, Harrisburg on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m., burial in Paxtang Cemetery. The family is appreciative of the many acts of love and kindness shown to them during their time of bereavement.
