William H. Jackson, Sr

William H. Jackson, Sr., son of the late Charles and Martha Jackson, passed peacefully at home on June 23rd amongst family and friends. William was a member of Mt. Calvary COGIC, a dedicated employee of Santana Banana Company for 44 years and enjoyed television, shopping and playing cards. He leaves to mourn a close companion Phyllis Marie Buckner, his children; Christine Brooks, Darenda, Amanda and William Jackson Jr., Charles and Bryant Holmes and Sharon Stevenson, children's mother, Daisy A. Jackson, siblings; Pearle Bruton, Juanita Holmes, Joan Early, Louise Brown, Sharon, Charles, James and Paul Jackson, 27 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, additional family and friends. His celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 28th at Hooper Memorial Home Inc., at 11:00 a.m., viewing 10:00 a.m., interment in William Howard Day Cemetery. The family greatly appreciates your love and support during their time of loss and bereavement, as well as your many acts of kindness.
