William Montez Gray II, age 43, formerly of Harrisburg Pennsylvania, an employee of the Fairfax Juvenile Domestic Relations Court of Virginia passed suddenly on June 23, 2006 in Hershey Medical Center.
"Monty" was born on January 5, 1963, in Harrisburg to Rev. William M. Gray Sr. and Nancy Gray-Connor of Indiana, PA. He attended Shippensburg University where he received his Master's Degree. Monty was a proud brother of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. In addition to his parents, he leaves to mourn his devoted and loving wife, Dana, and children Brielle Gray and Tommy Diggs of Virginia. Also mourning Monty is his stepfather Lyman Connor of Indiana, Pa.; maternal grandmother, Lillie Greene of Harrisburg; and sisters Rev. Marla Gray of Harrisburg, Lisa Jacobs and Jetaun Berry, both of Tennessee; Andrea Whatley of North Carolina; Noreen Connor of Virginia; brother, Allen Connor of Virginia; niece Sequoia and nephew Joseph of Harrisburg; sisters-in-law Donna Dukes of Alabama; Dena Denny of Virginia; Devin Tines of Maryland; brothers-in-law Denny Tines of Virginia; Randy Harris of Georgia; two goddaughters, Danah Diggs of New Jersey; and Ashlea Thompson of Harrisburg; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A tribute in his honor will be held in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc., Thursday June 29th at 11a.m. with viewing at 9. His final resting place will be in William Howard Day Cemetery.
