Vivian Saunders Cox

"Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow ~ don't walk behind me, I may not lead ~ Just walk beside me and be my friend." Vivian Saunders Cox 82, widow of the late Reverend Dr. James A. Cox, first Pastor of The Tabernacle Baptist Church passed peacefully Tuesday August 11, 2009 in the Spring Creek Nursing Center. Vivian was a faithful member of her late husband's church and retiree of the Harrisburg School District. She loved sewing and gardening. Vivian leaves to mourn her son James A. (Paula), daughter Debra Cox Ellison and step-son William R. Cox, three grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc., Monday at 10AM with viewing Sunday from 5-6PM in the funeral home.
