Virginia M. Olive

" To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose... " Virginia M. Oliver, 75, of Susquehanna Twp., passed peacefully on Monday, November 22, 2010 in Harrisburg Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Ressie Matthews and John Patterson, widow to the late Adeleno Oliver Sr. and predeceased by a grandson, Adeleno J. Oliver-Horton. Virginia retired from AMP Inc. as an assembler, she also worked for Lawson's Furniture she was a member of Lingo Memorial COGIC, she loved reading her bible and taking care of the elderly. She leaves to celebrate her memory her children; Demetrice Mundy, Wannetta Travis, Wanda Vivar, Adeleno Oliver, Jr. and Penny Gilcrist, 5 brothers, McKinley, John and William Matthews ,Thomas and Robert Patterson, 2 sisters Barbara Jones and Anna Toliver, 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held in her church, 2747 Reel Street, Harrisburg today, Saturday, November 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., with viewing at 10:00 a.m. and the interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Front Royal, VA. Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. is caring for and handling Mrs. Oliver's arrangements.
