Vernelle Smith

The Services for Ms Vernelle Smith 72, of Chestnut Street will be Thursday May 17th at 11AM with viewing at 10 in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc. Vernelle passed Sunday May 13 at Harrisburg Hospital leaving to mourn her children Gwendolyn, Kenneth Sr., Kelvin Smith and Karen Price. Six siblings Clara Perkins Bertha Warren, Ida, Booker, James and John Bates, five grandchildren three great grandchildren and host of relatives and friends. She loved fishing, sports and was a member of the Morrison Towers Resident Council. Her interment will be William Howard Day cemetery. The family wishes that all acknowledgements and cards of sympathy be delivered to Ms Karen Price, 4040 Rawleigh Street, Harrisburg, PA 17109 or to 351 Chestnut Street, Apt 408, Harrisburg, PA 17104. The family of Mrs. Smith would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation and thanks for the enormous outpouring of love and support from all who have been touched by her life.
