On Wednesday, September 8, 2010, the Lord called for his angel Tyeas Nicole Case of Hershey, Pennsylvania to join Him in his heavenly home. Tyeas entered eternal peace while surrounded by her loving family.
Tyeas was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on August 26, 1980, and lived there for a short time before moving to Hershey with her family. She was a lover of life and lived hers to the fullest during her years on this earth. During her school years, Tyeas loved earning badges as a Girl Scout. During her high school years, she kept herself physically and mentally active as a cheerleader, baton twirler and even a tumbler. Tyeas graduated from Hershey High School with the Class of 1999. Her love of animals and special talent for hatching baby chicks is a testament to the compassion Tyeas held for all of God's creatures.
In her professional life, Tyeas enjoyed her work at Comcast Communications in Palmyra, Pennsylvania, where she was employed as a customer service representative. She remained committed to the Girl Scout Association into her adulthood, serving as a Troop Leader.
Tyeas was a precious stone in her family's garden and she will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she has touched. Tyeas is preceded in eternal life by her grandparents: James H. Case Jr., Nomina Wills, Elton Williams, Sr. and Barbara Jean Wright. She is survived by two beautiful young children Elijah M. and Sayuri N. Case; her loving parents James H. Case III, and Robin E. Brantley- Case; her devoted siblings Brittany Case of Hampton, Virginia and Indira Case of Hershey. She is also survived by her special cousins Barbara and Jamar Wright, who were more like siblings to Tyeas than cousins; her grandparents Daniel and Vera Brantley of Springfield, Massachusetts; Betty Case of Columbia, Maryland; Cora Williams of Springhill, Florida and and honorary grandparents Willie and C.V. Wright of Springfield, Massachusetts; a host of aunties, uncles and cousins; and a lifetime of friends who will mourn her passing.
HomeGoing Services for Tyeas will be held at Capital Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with visitation at 11 a.m. followed by a 12 p.m. service. Interment will take place at the Hershey Cemetery immediately following the service. The repast will take place at Milton Hershey Purcell Friendship Hall in Hershey. To honor Tyeas's life her family is in the process of creating a memorial foundation in her name to assist family members of loved ones who suffer from liver disease.
