Thomas "Muss" I. Porter

Thomas I. Porter, 60 of Harrisburg and affectionately known as "Muss", passed peacefully on October 19, 2013. He was the son of Frances Neely and the late Rufus Porter. Thomas was an equipment operator for Sears Logistic, an avid Redskins fan, loved sports and his grandchildren. Along with his father he is preceded by 3 brothers; Robert, Hubert and Piper Porter. He is survived by his wife, Karen, his mother, Frances, his daughter; Shana, grandchildren; Arieyanna, Tamari, siblings; Stanley, Donnie, Ronnie and Francis, mother-in-law Shirlee, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held at Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Church, 2334 Highland Ave., Harrisburg (Edgemont) on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m. with burial in Paxtang Cemetery.
