Thomas McArthur Harvey, Sr. 61, of Oak Avenue, passed peacefully at home amongst his family and friends on Tuesday, November 10, 2009. He retired as Vice President, Check Processing Department of the former Dauphin Deposit Bank (now M&T Bank). Among his favorite pastimes/hobbies were horse racing, traveling, sports, watching the Philadelphia Eagles, spending time with his Family and Friends and donating to a variety of charities. He was a devoted Father, Son, Brother and Friend.
Thomas leaves to mourn and cherish precious memories of him: his Mother, Minnie Bell Harvey (Orlando, FL), his devoted children, Saundra L. Harvey, Thomas M. Harvey, Jr. and Tometta L. Harvey; Three Loving Sisters, Minnie H. Bollar of Spencerport, NY; Zethel L. Williams (Earnest) of Orlando, FL; Beverly A. Harvey of Beltesville, MD; Three Loving Brothers, Robert C. Harvey (Lucille) of Garner, NC; Beauford M. Harvey (Eva) of La Grange, GA and Leslie R. Harvey (Deborah) of Rochester, NY; Four Grandchildren, Marquis A. Woodyard, Kenya D. Hocker-Harvey, Azza B. Harvey-Wilson and Chiara E. Snyder-Harvey, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Robert Lee Harvey and sister, Corrie Jean Harvey.
Services will be held at The Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Wednesday, November 18th at 11am with viewing at 10am. Interment Paxtang Cemetery.
