Terry Lee Searcy was born on July 25, 1962, in New Orleans, LA, to David W. Searcy and Edith A. Carter.
On Friday May 26th at 60 years of age he departed this life in the presence of his loving wife Theresa.
Terry was employed by Harley Davidson (Syncreon) as a forklift operator for over ten years. He was a faithful member of Faith Refuge Ministries. He and his wife were baptized in 2002 and he gave his life to the Lord just this year.
In his leisure time, Terry loved to spend quality time with his family, especially his kids and grandchildren. Terry loved to shoot pool and was known as a “pool shark”
in his day. He was also a diehard San Francisco 49ers Fan!! He was preceded by his nephew Tyrell Harris. He leaves to celebrate his life, and cherish his precious memories, his wife Theresa Searcy, daughters Aisha Searcy, Terra Searcy, and Tyra Banks, his stepchildren Douglas Williams, Domanique Dickey (Antwann), and Richard Aycock, siblings, Eugene W. Bullett, David W. Searcy Jr., Gerald Searcy (Mary), Terry Philips (Stephanie), Shawnie Johnson (Constance), Rochelle Butler (Douglas), Vercenia Scarbor (Tony) of Virginia, Tracy Thompson (Mark), Mary Brooks (Greg) of Louisiana, grandchildren that were his heart, Jayden, Sanai, Tristan, Lenny, and Isaac, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, other cousins, relatives, and friends.
We thank everyone who loved Terry and was a part of his life and took time to come out today to celebrate his life with us and his family.
