Sylvia Dykes

Sylvia Dykes, daughter of Johnny and step daughter of Odell Bush, devoted mother to Seth A. and Stephen L. Dykes, sibling to Olevia Jackson, Victoria Browne, Tracey Prophet, Cynthia Reily, Annette Martin, Rebecca Lewis, Tony Richardson, Joseph Perry II, Wendell, Daryl and Jamal Bush, three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends passed spiritually and peacefully with family and friends at the age of 59, February 2nd, 2006. She was a member of the Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church where her affiliations were with the Missionary, Newsletter, Mental health, Welcome and Teachers Ministries. She was also with the Golden Girls Club. Sylvia worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Community Affairs for twenty two years. Her life will be celebrated in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc. Friday, February the tenth at 11AM with viewing at 10. The family wishes to thank all of you for your prayers and support during their time of bereavement.
