Shirley D. Tryman

Shirley Davis Tryman, Affectionately known as “Karns” was born on Thursday January 9, 1936 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Leroy and Martha Davis.
She received her formal education in the Harrisburg School District. During her working career she was employed at the Harrisburg State Hospital, Harrisburg and Polyclinic Hospitals, PA Dept. of Revenue and retired from the City of Harrisburg.
In her leisure, she enjoyed singing, reading, computer games and all Lifetime movies. But, she mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
On Wednesday November 15, 2016 Shirley transitioned from this earthly life into eternal life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children; Keith, Christina and Kelly, brothers; Kenneth and Leroy Jr. and sister, Loretta.  
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters Karen and Kimberly Davis of Harrisburg, her sons Kevin Davis of Moreno Valley, CA and Erskine (Jean) Davis of Colonial Heights, Virginia. Sisters Elizabeth Williams, Louise (Michael) Hunter, Ernestine (Lloyd) Dennis, brothers Nathaniel (Vivian) Davis and Ernest Davis Sr., all of Harrisburg, 13 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, also a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
