Sheila Young
Sheila Young, 73 of Harrisburg, passed on June 15, 2022, at UPMC Harrisburg. She was known for being a loving mother, grandmother, and dear friend. Sheila is the daughter of late Cornelius and Marguerite Young and is predeceased by her sister, Sylvia Young.
Sheila retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot as a General Support Specialist with 14 years of dedicated service. Sheila enjoyed watching Monk, playing computer games and faithfully gave to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Sheila leaves to celebrate her life and memory, her daughters; Lori Wiley, Leslie Proctor and Shannie Black, sisters, Faith and Mayvon, granchildren: Aunashay, Aaron, Robert, Atlas, great- grandchildren: Rosamia, Rosalind, Romain and a host of relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Jude’s Children hospital in her name.
Graveside services will be held at William Howard Day Cemetery, on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. is handling arrangements.

To Leslie and family of Sheila ,she was a friend I've talked to on a regular basis,she will be missed but knowing she's in Heaven resting with her other family members smile she's not in no pain only peace. I love you my friend. Rip
