Sharon M. Rhen

Sharon Marie Rhen (Boyer), 73, passed away on April 2, 2025.

Sharon graduated from Northern Lebanon High School in 1969 and Millersville University in 1971. She worked for the Northern Lebanon School District for 33 years as an elementary teacher, spending most of her career at East Hanover and Fredericksburg.

On August 28, 1971, she married Ronald Rhen. Together, they lived in Lebanon, Fredericksburg, and Palmyra throughout their long and loving marriage. Sharon found joy in dining out with her husband, traveling, and experiencing live music—whether at the Hershey Park Amphitheater or the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand.

A lover of sci-fi, fantasy, and mysteries, Sharon delighted in both reading and watching stories unfold on screen. Her love for animals was evident, especially in the way she doted on her daughter's cats. She cherished every moment spent with her daughter, whether they were shopping, enjoying musicals, or basking in the late afternoon sun at the beach.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jessica. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; her parents, Peter and Pauline; and her brother, Keith.
