Senior Pastor Troy La'mont Hopkins

"There's an open gate at the end of the road, through which each must go alone, and there is a light we cannot see Our Father calls His own." Senior Pastor Troy La'mont Hopkins of York, 37 passed suddenly January 6th, 2008 in his church The Heart of God International Church. He was founder, Senior Pastor, Musician, Visionary and Mentor of his church. He was also a member of the Fellowship Inner City Word of Faith Ministry under the direction of Dr. Fred K.C. Price. Missing Pastor Troy but letting him go are his wife Tammy, mother Barbara Hopkins, children Mark Hopkins and Michael Porter, siblings George M. Hopkins and Toya Watkins all of York; also missing him is his mother-in-law Dr Ramona Griffin of Harrisburg. There will be a host of other relatives and friends missing but letting Pastor Troy go. Services for him will be in the Shiloh Baptist Church West, 740 West Locust Street, York, PA 17404 Friday January 11th at 11AM with viewing at 9. His final resting place will be in the Susquehanna Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
