Sandra R. Thompson

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, We bid farewell to Sandra R. Thompson, who touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life she lived and the love she shared.

Born on February 21st, 1940 in Long Branch, New Jersey, Sandra was a beacon of warmth, kindness and patience. Traits that served her well in her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse and equally well as a devoted daughter, sister, wife, and mother.

A late bloomer in the life that she lived, she enjoyed Painting, Jazz music concerts and she also became a fan of the Culinary Arts. She spent much of her free time during the last decade or so engaging in all these activities.

Although Sandra may no longer be with us physically, her spirit will continue to live on through the memories she created. She will forever be remembered for her unwavering love, infectious laughter, and the genuine kindness she extended to all. Her legacy will serve as a constant reminder to cherish our loved ones, live with compassion, and make a positive impact on the world.

As we say our final goodbyes, let us celebrate the extraordinary life of Sandra. May we find solace in knowing that her spirit lives on, guiding and inspiring us to be the best versions of ourselves. She will be dearly

missed and forever held in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Hooper Memorial on Saturday, September 09, 2023. Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of Sandra’s life and share their fondest memories.
