Death is more universal than life; everyone dies but not everyone lives.
Samuel E. Walker Jr. of Edgemont passed Wednesday, November 10th from the warmth of family and friends into the loving arms of God in Community General Hospital at the age of 72. Sam was very passionate about his driving. He drove for CAT, Dauphin County and the Daily Express. He retired from those places and in between he was passionate about his Motorcycle. He also loved fishing and gardening.
His passing will be mourned by his devoted wife Barbara Ann, eight children Michael Lee, Tracey and Doree Myers, Georgianna Belcher, Rosalie Glymph, Rosaline Pratt, Donna Williams and Althea Roy, his sibling Dorothy Flynn with eight grand and three great-grandchildren. Services for Sam will be in the First Zion Baptist church, 1500 Edgemont Rd, Tuesday November 16th at 11AM with viewing a 10. His final resting place will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
