Samuel E Manning

Samuel E. Manning, 88 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully at home on Sunday, February 9, 2014. He was the son of the late Floyd and Elsie Manning, an Army Veteran and retired from the US Postal Service with more than 40 years of service and Giant Foods. Samuel was also a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, a Legionnaire at American Legion Post #733, loved the Phillies and enjoyed games of chance and traveling. He leaves to cherish his memory 3 children, Samuel Manning,, Jr., Angela M. Logan (Gary) and Tracey Y. Kent (Lee), siblings Rebecca Nichols, Arlene Woodward, Floyd and Daniel Manning, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren all of Harrisburg and a host of other relatives and friends. Service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m., interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
