Sadie Lloyd

"There's an open gate at the end of the road, through which each must go alone, and there is a light we cannot see Our Father calls His own." Sadie Lloyd 77, of The Presbyterian Apartments passed peacefully in Holy Spirit Hospital Friday February 12th, 2010. She retired from the John Wanamaker Department Store, was a member of St. Paul's Missionary Baptist Church and she loved family, games and sports. Sadie will be sadly missed by her three children, Russell and Gregory Wooten and Carol Lloyd, three sisters, Martha Bullock, Ethel Rogers Grundy and Reverend Cleo Wooten, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc., Friday February 19th at 11AM with viewing at 10. Her final resting place will be in Paxtang Cemetery.
