Russell R. Jenkins Sr

Russell R. Jenkins Sr., 68, passed Friday, January 2, 2009. He was Founder and President of Jenkins Fuel Oil. He was a member of Shiloh Church of God in Christ. He enjoyed serving the community and being a blessing to those in need. He leaves with precious memories, his devoted wife, Thelma V. Jenkins and four children; Rose M. Jenkins, Russell R. Jenkins Jr. (Lisa), Mark T. Jenkins Sr. (Bessie), Robert E. Jones Sr., all of Harrisburg PA and Michael A. Jenkins Sr. (Stephanie), of South Carolina, 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Also, five sisters, Susie Smith of Maytown PA, Eliza E. Malbury (Elmo) of Columbia PA, Minnie M., Carrie R., and Patricia L. Jenkins, all of Harrisburg, PA, two brothers, Jerry Jenkins (Christine) of Barlett, TN and Allen Jenkins (Connie) of Harrisburg, PA, several cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Minnie Jenkins, four siblings, George, Luther, John and Drusella Jenkins. A viewing at 9:00 a.m., service of celebration promptly at 10:00 a.m. at Shiloh Church of God in Christ, 5950 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA on Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Internment at Harrisburg East Cemetery, located on Herr Street.
