Rosie M. Hawkins

Rosie M. Hawkins, 65 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully in Community General Hospital on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Rosie was the daughter of the late Garfield and Bessie Hawkins and a member of Hillside Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Michael W. Dyson officiating. Rosie retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with more than 35 years of service; her last position was in the Office of the Comptroller. She enjoyed fellowshipping activities with her church, camp revivals and bowling. She leaves behind her siblings; Sallie Clark, Hazel, Judy, Earl, Lee and Royal Hawkins all of Mississippi and Winston Hawkins of Harrisburg, several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services will be held in her church on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m., located at 1300 Herr Street, Harrisburg and burial in Lewis Chapel Cemetery, Senatobia, Mississippi.
