Rose "Granny" Lewis

Rose E. Lewis passed peacefully on Monday, January 15th at Harrisburg Hospital in her 77th year. Rose was a Chef at Tops Restaurant, a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and enjoyed culinary arts. She leaves to celebrate her life and memory; two children, Darlene and Melvin Lewis, 8 step children, Sheldon Sr., Kevin, Tyrone, Darrell and Tyrita Gooding all of Harrisburg, Charlene Anderson of Ohio, Sherry Hairston and Billy Burg of Mississippi, 23 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Services will be held on Monday, January 22nd at 11:00AM in Bethany A.M.E. Church at 21st and Derry Sts., viewing at 10:00 with interment at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may be received at 25 N. 17th Street, the family appreciates your love and kindness during this time of sadness and bereavement. Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. is handling Mrs. Lewis` arrangements.
