Rosa Lee Johnson Morant

Rosa Lee Morant "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose" Rosa Lee Johnson Morant, 86, of Middletown, PA, passed peacefully on January 26, 2010, in Hershey Medical Center. Rosa was a 1948 graduate of Allen University, Columbia, SC. A devoted and dedicated employee, she retired from the Federal Government as a Supervisor. She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church, Hampton, VA, and later Bethel Village A.M.E. Church, Harrisburg, PA. She served with various memberships including: Order of Eastern Star, Tidewater, Virginia P.H. Chapter #24, ZEM Court 98, Daughters of Isis and Naomi Assembly #40. Rosa leaves to celebrate her life and memory her devoted son, Blake D. Morant and daughter-in-law Paulette J. Morant of North Carolina, a devoted niece and caretaker, Mary Kent of Harrisburg, several other nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Services in her honor will be held at her present church located at1721 N. 5th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102 on Saturday, January 30, 2010, beginning at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m. with burial in William Howard Day Cemetery. The family appreciates your many acts of kindness during their time of bereavement.
