Ronald D. Dunbar

Ronald Dunbar, 75 of Harrisburg, went to be with the Lord peacefully on August 28, 2024 at his home with family at his side. He was the son of the late Samuel Dunbar Jr., and Bernetta M. Dunbar-Lewis.

He retired from AMES True Temper with over 35 years of service. Ronald was a faithful and devoted member of From the Heart Church Ministries of Harrisburg where he served as Usher Ministry Head. Ronald enjoyed landscaping at home, spending time with family, watching westerns and detective shows. He spent time in Prayer, devotion, and worshiping Jesus. His greatest passion was reading the bible and talking about the word of God.

He is proceeded in death by his siblings; Samuel Dunbar III, Diedra Marie Dunbar-Brown and Randell Dunbar. He leaves to celebrate his life, wife Regina Dunbar, 6 children, Anthony (Kisha) and Ronald (Serena) Sloane, Andre, Chanel, Cherise and Jacolla Dunbar, his extended children Raven Jackson-Zeigler and Christopher Jackson. Two brothers Roscoe and Joshua Dunbar; 19 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and host of relatives and friends. 

Services will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at From the Heart Church Ministries at 11:00 a.m., viewing 10:00 a.m., 1300 Wayne St, Harrisburg, burial William Howard Day.
