Robert Wilbur Johnson

Robert Wilbur Johnson passed peacefully on Friday, April 13, 2007 in his 87th year and born April 13, 1920 to the late Wilbur and Dolly S. Johnson (Tonsel). Mr. Johnson was a long time member and trustee of Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Church; he had a big heart always providing for the homeless. He leaves to celebrate his life; his wife, Fanny M. Johnson, a daughter, Deborah E. Johnson (Hardy), a brother, Joseph Tonsel, 5 grandchildren; Michael D. Hardy, his wife, Teresa M. Hardy, Trina N. Hardy, Rev. Nikkea L. Hardy, and Damon K. Hardy, 4 great grandchildren; Desiree M. Hardy, Nicole L. Hardy, Michael D. Hardy, Jr., and Nyekeya L. Hardy and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of who are from Harrisburg. Services will be held at his church on Thursday, April 19th at 11:00 a.m., viewing from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and interment at Indiantown National Cemetery. The family appreciates your love and support during their time of loss and sorrow. Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. is handling Mr. Johnson's arrangements.
