Robert F. Carter, Sr., 74 of Susquehanna Twp., passed peacefully on December 24, 2012 at home with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late Frank and Laura Carter and retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He was an Army veteran, member of Capitol Presbyterian Church where he served as a Trustee and had memberships with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and Club 21. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; Donald C., Barry K., and Richard S. Carter. Robert is survived by his devoted wife Carolyn Dillon Carter; a son Robert F. Carter II, daughters; Brandy Carter and Crystal Cooper all of Harrisburg, 5 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held in his church, 1401 Cumberland Street, Saturday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., viewing starting at 9:00 a.m., Omega Psi Phi, Kappa Omega Chapter services at 10:00 a.m., with burial on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
