Rella M. Thompson

Rella M. Thompson, 86, of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Community General Hospital. Rella retired from the City of Harrisburg, attended Trinity Church of God, was a member of American Legion Post 733, she enjoyed music, singing and playing the piano. She leaves to celebrate her life and memory her daughter, Connie Maddox, a sister, Marva Dockens, several grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren with a host of relatives and friends. Rella was predeceased by her parents, William and Grace Dockens, and a son Ronald Bailey. Services will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010 at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m. The family appreciates your love and support.
