Randolph M. Brown 57 of Waldo Street passed peacefully at home August 12, 2008. Randolph was a retired City Detective of 35 years with the Harrisburg Police Force., member and trustee of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, a member of the American Legion Post 733 and the Unity Temple #61 IBPOE of W. He leaves to mourn his father Earl Taylor, step-mother Dorothy Taylor, children; Tira Steele, Marlena Brown, Terrance Walker, Marcus and Demond Bates; sisters Ruth (Annie) Bates, Patricia Brown, Deborah Johnson, Sharon Cash and Michelle Brown; brothers Charles Brown, Bernard Taylor, Richard Brown, John Mobley, Earl Brown, Michael Brown and a devoted companion Charlene Collier. Services will be held in his church on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 12 Noon with viewing at 10AM. Elks services will be at 11:30AM that same day. Randolph's final resting place will be in Paxtang Cemetery.
