Rahima S. Howard

Rahima Sawab Howard, also known as China 49, of Harrisburg, PA passed peacefully on Thursday July 28, 2016 at Osteopathic Hospital. Rahima was born in New Jersey on January 3rd, 1967. She was the daughter of Ms Sylvia Howard Killian from New Jersey and the late Sawab Abdullah Sawab also known as John Howard. She grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Irvington High School in 1985.
Rahima was a very determined, beautiful and strong young woman. She was an entrepreneur as a massage therapist and enjoyed listening to music, dancing and spending time with family and friends. She had been fighting Cancer for awhile; even when she endured difficult times in her life she was still capable of finding the good in a negative situation. She had a giving heart and she loved to help others. Her laugh and beautiful smile would light up any room.

Along with her father, she is also predeceased by her Brother Al-Sawab –Sawab and Sister Kihamsemar Howard. She leaves to celebrate her life and memory, her loving mother Ms. Sylvia Howard Killian, her three children Tahmir Hammond, Ciera and Kalisha Howard all from Harrisburg, PA. Her sisters: Jarubi Howard, Sharrieffia Howard, Jamillah Banks, Almietra Weems, and Mirium Howard. Her brothers: Abdullah Sawab, Farrakhan Sawab, Gibran Sawab, Jamal Sawab-Howard, Nasir Sawab, Esau Howard, Zakee Howard, Azmar Thomas and Allen Thomas. Her only granddaughter Lilly Hammond, her companion Devin Isom and his son Tasheen Isom as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Rahima will truly be missed by all those who loved her.
