Portia Slaughter Jones

Portia Slaughter Jones, 77 of Harrisburg, passed April 23, 2017. She was predeceased by parents Luther Slaughter and Lillian McElrath. Portia retired from the Social Security Administration, was a member of Grace Fellowship Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post # 733 and enjoyed shopping, traveling, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Frank Jones, daughter; Kesia Alston, sister Allegra Monroe, 8 grand, 8 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
