Porter "Butch" W. Clark, Jr

  "When I come to the end of my journey and traveled my last weary mile."    Porter W. Clark, Jr. "Butch", 62 of Harrisburg, passed Friday, July 29, 2011 with his family at his side. Porter retired as a foreman of grounds at Harrisburg School District. He was a member of The Anointed Bible Teaching Church of God; AFSCME, an avid HBG Cougars and Redskins fan and enjoyed shopping. Porter was the son of the late Porter and Pearl Clark, also preceded in death by his sons Keith Sanders and Derrick Watkins.  He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Clark, 3 children, Benita Clark of Maryland, Shakia Miller and Te`ara Harris of Harrisburg, one sister, Portia Clark of Washington DC, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held August 3, 2011 at Mt. Calvary COGIC, 1830 N. 5th Street, Harrisburg on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m., burial in Paxtang Cemetery.
