Polly A. Kelly

                                             “God’s finger touched her, and she fell asleep.”

Polly Ann Kelly daughter of the late William Green & Lizzie Lynn was born on October 19, 1941 in Charlotte, NC. She was employed with the State of Pennsylvania at the Harrisburg State Hospital from which she retired after 33 years of dedicated service. On December 16, 1961, Polly married the love of her life, Richard Kelly, and from that union they were blessed with three sons, Richard Jr., Jeffrey and Patrick.

Polly was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and served in several ministries: Diaconate, Choir, Usher Board, Pastor’s Aid, Vacation Bible School, Women’s Fellowship, Bible Study and Missionary. Polly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, bowling, and road trips with Richard.

On Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, PA, Polly went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her husband and family. In addition to her father and mother, Polly was preceded in death by her step-father, Melvin Lynn and son, Richard Kelly, Jr., and she leaves to carry on her life and legacy, her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, Richard Kelly Sr.; her sons, Jeffrey Kelly of Stone Mountain, GA and Patrick Kelly Sr. of Dover, PA; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Brittani, Patrick Jr., Kael and Jenah Kelly; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; sister-friends; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and her Macedonia Family.
