Olivia D. Buardell

Olivia Diane (Mosten) Buardell, 79, passed peacefully away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Spring Creek in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was born on July 6, 1937 in McConnellsburg, Pa.  She is the daughter of the late Clarence VanBrakle and Cora Mosten.                          
Olivia received her formal education in the Harrisburg public school system. She was an employee at the former Polyclinic Hospital where she worked in the dietary department.
Olivia enjoyed attending church services, reading the Bible and watching religious programs. She loved to help people. Her favorite saying was, “I am blessed and highly favored!” and yes, she was a wild flower.  Olivia is survived by her daughter, Stephanie M. Mosten, a brother, John VanBrakle, a sister, Patsy Montouph, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and a close friend, Norma Chism. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Allen Mosten and Douglas Mosten.
