Oliana Joseph

Oliana Joseph (66), of Harrisburg passed peacefully on September 15th, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born in Gonaives, Haiti to the late Paul Marcellus and Clara Leandre.

Oliana was a member of the 1st Haitian Christian Assembly of Harrisburg where she was a past Choir Director. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, singing, family and helping others whenever she could.

Along with her parents she is preceded by her siblings Anne Rose Francianie Jean-Baptiste, Dominique Marcellus, Luicius Marcellus, Charles Marcellus and Leanna Success. She leaves to celebrate her life Pierre Joseph, her children Nobel Joseph, Julietha Dickerson (Andrew Dickerson Jr.), Julie Joseph (Claude Joseph), Chedler Joseph (Daniela Joseph), Cherubin Joseph (Lucy Costume), Homere Joseph (Marie Frantze Casimir). Siblings Barthony Marcellus, Precius Marcellus, Levasseur Marcellus, Philamise Marcellus, Marcelin Marcellus; 17 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, her cousin Tania Jasmin, numerous nieces and nephews, church family, and a host of other relatives and friends.
