Norman "Mambo" Ortiz

Norman "Mambo" Ortiz, 73, passed away on October 19, 2024, in Harrisburg, PA.

Norman is survived by his children Norman Ortiz Jr., Shani, Candice, Daniel Ortiz all of Hartford, Connecticut. Irene Placencia, Angel, Eric and Jessica Crespo all of Harrisburg, PA. Sisters Rosa Martinez of Clifton NJ, Luz-Nilda Ortiz of Gurabo Puerto Rico, and Dominga Ruiz-Ortiz of Lawrence MA. Special cousin Nelson "CoCo" Ortiz that has been by his side, through thick and thin throughout his lifetime. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, to cherish his memory.

Norman is preceded in death by his father Jesus Ortiz and mother Luz-Maria Caraballo. Also brother Manuel "Junior" Ortiz.

Norman was a great Father, Grandfather, Brother, Cousin, Son and Friend. He was a hard worker and dedicated his life to provide for his children. He loved cracking jokes and was a big New York Giants Football fan. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

The service for Norman "Mambo" Ortiz will be held on Tuesday, at 5:30 PM at Hooper Memorial Home in the Walter Hooper Memorial Chapel. 

Public Viewing: October 29, 2024, 4:00 PM at the Hooper Memorial Home, 3532 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Funeral Services to follow the viewing starting at 5:30 PM. Public Burial will be held at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, NJ. on October 30, 2024 at 1:00 PM
