Nichole Taylor

Nichole (Nikki) Taylor was born on May 24, 1986, in Harrisburg, PA to the late William C. Taylor and Paulia Johnson. She is a graduate of Harrisburg High School, John Harris Campus.

Nikki was an amazing mother and loved spending time with her beloved son, Nicho. She was an aspiring performer who loved spoken-word poetry which she wrote. She also enjoyed shooting pool, playing darts and was a huge comedy fan. Nikki volunteered for several organizations in the Steelton community. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching the Harrisburg Cougars and the Steel High Rollers football.

On July 16, 2021, Nikki made her transition from earth to eternal life. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Angel Taylor, her paternal grandmother, Rosa Lee Diggs Wilson, her paternal great-grandparents, Farris and Lula Bell Earl, her maternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Johnson, her aunts & uncles, Mattie Mae Williams, Ernestine and Marshall Currence, Willie Mae Stowe, Robert V. Taylor, Annie Minerva and Lamar Harris.

She leaves to cherish and celebrate her life and legacy, her son, Nicho Powell-Taylor, her sister, Jequetta Jackson-Tettekpoe, her foster mother, Gloria Bonner, her aunts and uncles, Rose Mary Chavis, Mattie & Frank Clark, Willie Roberts, Farris Taylor, Veronica Burton, Edward Taylor, Victor Taylor, Arma Taylor, Belinda Allen, Sharon & Robert Sherman, Tanya & Keith Boykins, Elaine Johnson, John, Larry and Barry Croft, her BFF’s, Natashia & Taneshia Zabriskie, and Suzen Harris, and her Godchildren, Isaiah & Ishmael Harris and Kareema & Khadijah Hill.
