Mrs. Jacquelyn Green - Austin was born on December 19, 1947 in Harrisburg, PA to the late James E. Connor and Lue Ida Hatcher-Ewings. She departed this life on July 3, 2012 at her home with family and friends by her side.
Jacquelyn retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Health with more than thirty years of dedicated service
She leaves to celebrate her life and memory her devoted husband Robert L. Austin of Harrisburg, her daughter Nicole Green of N.Y., sister Patricia (Treaty) Tatum and brother-in-law Melvin, her niece Shane Williamson of Missouri, and nephew James Williamson of Texas, step-daughter Angela (Jeff) Finney, sister-in-law's Betty Floyd (William), Mary L. Austin, step-grandchildren Ryan and Dorian Finney, great grandson Jayden Finney.
Jacquelyn enjoyed doing arts and crafts, card playing, Jazz, and the Casino. She was never afraid of speaking her mind and will be greatly missed by all.
Services for Jacquelyn will be Monday July 9th, 2012 in the Hooper Memorial Home Inc. at 11AM with viewing at 10. Her final resting place will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Lemoyne Drive, Suite 101, Lemoyne PA 17043.
