Michele Yvette Burnette

Michele Yvette Burnette, "Shelly" was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, January 30, 1961 to Charlene Glass, and she peacefully passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the age of 49. Shelly graduated from Harrisburg High and loved fashion, music, dancing and playing cards. Her passion was hair styling and she attended cosmetology school. She leaves to mourn her devoted mother, Charlene Glass Burnette Williams and father Leo C. Burnette, Jr.; and step-father, Leon Williams, Sr.; son Joshua Burnette from Pittsburgh; daughter Jade Burnette; sister Pamela Burnette from Atlanta, GA and brother Leo Burnette III from Atlanta, GA (Katrina), grandfather, Charles Glass, grandparents, Leo Burnette, Sr. and Maggie Burnette; grandchild - Joshua Burnette, Jr. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Carrie Glass. She is also survived by a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Memorial Services will be held at Cornestone Baptist Church , 1099 Highspire Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111, Saturday February 13. Visitation with the family will be at 11:00 a.m. to Noon.
