Melvin A. Mansfield

"When I come to the end of my journey and traveled my last weary mile" Melvin A. Mansfield, 84, of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Spring Creek Nursing Home. Melvin an Army Veteran retired from Mechanicsburg Navy Depot and enjoyed Westerns, sports, walking and socializing. He leaves to celebrate his life his children; Kathy Brooks from Washington DC, Melvin Mansfield Jr., Steven Mansfield both from Harrisburg, 7 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Melvin was preceded in death by one son, Victor Mansfield. A viewing will be held at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. The family appreciates your words of kindness and support shown to them during their time of bereavement.
