Mattie M. Floyd

Mattie M. Floyd age 71, passed peacefully in Holy Spirit Hospital Thursday June 7th with family and friends. She was a retired claims adjuster for Nationwide Insurance Co. and an active member in community organizations in Kansas and Harrisburg. Mattie was a member of the Jack and Jill of America, League of Women Voters, Kappa Silhouettes, the Bridge Club and a Charter Member and three term President of the Harrisburg Chapter of Links Inc. To cherish her memory, she leaves, her mother, Mattie of Massillon, Ohio; her loving husband, Homer; three children, Jeffery C. (aka JC), Cheryl and Damon; two daughters-in-law, Shelley and DiAnn; two grandchildren, Jasmyn and Jordan; two brothers, Joseph and Ernest and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held in St. Paul's Baptist Church, Thursday June 14th at 11AM with Links Services at 10AM and viewing beginning at 9 AM. Her interment will be in Paxtang Cemetery.
