Mary H. Wilson passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 9th 2007 at Colonial Park Care Center at the age of 90; she was the daughter of the late Levi and Laura Harrison of Mercersburg and retired from the Harrisburg School District with 27 years of dedicated service. Mary was a member of Capital Presbyterian Church, where she served in the Woman's Association and as a former Deacon; a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc; and a volunteer for the Arthritis Association. She is celebrated and remembered by her four children: Jeanne M. Wise of Maryland; Carol L. Gadsden of Harrisburg, Deborah W. Gadsden wife of Nathan Lee Gadsden of Lancaster, and John L. Wilson, Jr. also of Maryland; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held at her church on Wednesday, October 17 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing at Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. on Tuesday, October 16 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday at her church at 10:00 a.m. The family greatly appreciates your love and support during their time of loss and sorrow, Hooper Memorial Home, Inc. is caring for and handling Mrs. Wilson's arrangements.
