Mary L. Smith

Mary L. Smith of 2208 N. 6th Street, passed peacefully at home, on Thursday, July 26th with her children and grandchildren at her side. Mary was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a Primary Sunday School Teacher. Mary retired from the Hamilton Grill and was well known for her skills in the kitchen. She enjoyed cooking shows and loved caring for children, often known as grand-mom to many. She leaves to celebrate her life and memory 8 children; Karen L. Linville, Yvonne Smith, Jeannette Harper, Kay F. William, Homer Smith II, Mary Smith Wilcox, Renee and Johnathan Smith, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Mary's life will be celebrated at her church, 4788 Union Deposit Road, Wednesday, August 1st at 11:00 a.m., viewing 10:00 a.m., and interment William Howard Day Cemetery. Mrs. Smith's arrangements will be handled and cared for by the Hooper Memorial Home Inc.
