Mary Ann "Betty" E. Carter

MARY ANN CARTER, was born on August 2, 1938 in Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, Virginia, to the union of the late Gladys L. Falls and Elisha Falls.

Mary Ann was affectionately known as “Betty” and she transition into eternal life at the Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA on March 23, 2024 at 4:26 p.m. Mary Ann received her formal education at John Harris High School in Harrisburg, PA. 

She was a dedicated employee and retired with 20 years of service from the Red Roof Inn, in Harrisburg, PA.  Mary Ann attended the Christ Gospel Temple Apostolic Church in the community of Edgemont, also in Harrisburg, under the pastorate of Pastor Linda Mounds who was faithful in visiting her until the Lord called her home. 

Her favorite pastimes were playing solitaire, watching game shows, and playing bingo. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband James Carter, father, Elisha Fall, mother, Gladys L. Cooper, brothers, William H. Cooper, Robert L. Cooper, niece, Cathy L. Bonner, and dear friend Robert Courtney. She leaves to cherish her memory her sisters; Rella Rice (Maurice) of Monessen, PA., Arlene L. Cooper of Middletown, PA., sister-in-law Laverne Cooper of Harrisburg, PA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
