Marion Lewis Smith

Marion Lewis Smith, formerly of North 15th Street passed peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 7th in her 86th year. Marion was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, the Senior Choir, Church Mother and Past President of the Deaconess Board. Retiring from the Federal Government and the Commonwealth of PA, she leaves to celebrate her life, three children; Moncy P. Smith III, Gayland J. Smith and Marcella Smith Raynor all of Harrisburg, two children through marriage; Lillian S. Richardson of VA and Linda S. Bennett of NC, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Marion's services will be held at 1st Baptist Church of Steelton on Thursday, February 15th at 11:00 a.m., viewing at 10:00 a.m. and interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Friday, February 16th, the family appreciates the love and kindness shown to them during this time of sadness and bereavement. Mrs. Smith is being cared for by Hooper Memorial Home, Inc.
