Marie A. Williams

Marie A. Williams “Sugar”, 88 of Harrisburg, passed peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Marie Aiken, daughter Madge R. Williams, grandson Randolph Scott Jr, sisters Althenia A. Burton and Josephine Garvin.

Marie retired from the Commonwealth, Labor & Industry with 23 years of service. She was a member of Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church. Enjoyed cooking, baking, feeding folks, and was well known for her sweet potato pie.  Spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren was her delight.

Marie leaves her husband Robert E. Williams, children; Robin Williams, Anthony (Cathy) Williams of SC, Jacquelyn (Ronald) Slade, siblings; David, Annette, and Anthony (Jacqueline) Aiken of NY, 8 grand, 10 great and 2 great-great grandchildren, special niece and nephew, Patricia A. Wright and Rocky Burton, two 1st cousins, Shirley Singer of DC and Betty Reynolds of SC, special friends Joyce Clark of Hershey and Sharon Ingram of Carlisle. She also a host of other nieces, nephews, an aunt and cousins.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to those who provided care for Marie including; the staff at Fresenius Medical Center, Colonial Park Care Center, Kindred Hospice and her care giver Priscilla Hill. Private Graveside Services will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Saturday, May 2, 2020.
