Marguerite G. Young

"May the work I've done speak for me..." Marguerite G. Young, 87, passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Colonial Care Center. She was a member of St. Patrick's Cathedral; she enjoyed sewing, bingo and game shows and was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Proceeded in death by her parents, Lewis and Bessie Walker, siblings, Winifred Jones and Virginia Banks. Yet leaves to celebrate her life and memory her daughter Sheila Young, grandchildren; Lori Wiley, Leslie Proctor, Shannie Black, great-grandchildren; Aunashay Marguerite Neil, Aaron Lee Moon, Robert Lewis Black, Jr., Atlas Adonis Williams and a great-great grandchild, Rosa Mia Diaz. Services will be held at the Cathedral, 212 State Street, Harrisburg on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., with burial in William Howard Day Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Asera Care Hospice, 75 S. Houcks Rd., Harrisburg and a special thanks to the nursing staff on C Hall.
